BACKGROUND:                      On November 15, 2023, the City Commission appointed the Law Offices of John J. Hearn, PA as Special Magistrate, with Attorney John J. Hearn or Attorney Andrew Dunkeil presiding. This agenda item is to amend the compensation rate, effective October 1, 2025, from $170.00 to $200.00 per hour for magistrate services.

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     Billing rate of $200.00 per hour.
