MCRA BUDGET PRIORITIES IN FY 2024
BACKGROUND: Budget planning for fiscal year 2024 is currently underway throughout the City. The intent of this item is to obtain preliminary discussion and obtain Board feedback about MCRA projects and activities for the upcoming fiscal year 2023-2024.
Current FY 2023 MCRA capital projects that are underway include the following:
- Margate Blvd Design
- Southgate Blvd/441 Median Design
- Gateway Signs
- Property Improvement Grants
- Property Acquisitions
- SW 6th Streetscape Improvements (on agenda for further discussion)
FY 2024 MCRA Proposed Projects/Programs include:
- Property Acquisitions
- Property Improvement Grants
- Sports Complex Baseball Field Upgrades
- Underground Utilities
- Chevy Chase Plaza Completion
o Roof Completion
o Parking Lot Completion
o Painting and Column Upgrades
- Atlantic Blvd Median Improvements
o Up lighting of trees
- Margate Blvd Construction
- Southgate Blvd/441 Median Construction
- Gateway/Entryway Signs
