BACKGROUND:  The City advertised for bids for Bid No. 2018-015 - Generator Enclosure Replacement (Coral Gate).  Eleven potential bidders requested and were provided bid packages. Two bid submissions were received and evaluated by Staff.  As shown on the accompanying memorandum, Staff recommends award of this bid to Pantropic Power, Inc.                                           

 

RECOMMENDATION:  Award to Pantropic Power, Inc.                     

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                      $124,600

Account No. 461-6019-536.65-81                     

(Project represents Hurricane Irma related damage with a potential for FEMA reimbursement of associated costs)
