Title
AUTHORIZING A ONE-YEAR EXTENSION TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE MARGATE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND KEITH AND ASSOCIATES, INC.
BACKGROUND: The MCRA and Keith and Associates, Inc., entered into an Agreement for General Engineering Consulting Services dated February 10, 2016. This Agreement provided for an initial term of two years with an option to renew for an additional three (3), one-year extensions (maximum of five years total). The second of the three, one-year extensions was authorized last year and extended the Agreement through February 10, 2020.
If approved, this Resolution would authorize the third and final one-year extension of the Agreement, commencing on February 11, 2020 and ending on February 10, 2021. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain the same.
The MCRA plans to issue a Request For Qualification (RFQ) later this year for a new continuing services agreement for general engineering services in 2021 and thereafter.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the one-year extension.
