BACKGROUND:                                          This rate resolution directs the reimposition of Fire Rescue Assessments for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2023 and approves the rate of assessment.

 

The fee is still below the maximum allowable fee of $367 that was calculated in the 2016 study.

                     

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                                           For the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2023, the total estimated Fire Rescue Assessed Cost to be assessed is $11,463,895.  The Fiscal Year 2024 budgeted revenue will be $9,441,376 after buy-downs and pre-payment discounts.

 

The Fire Rescue Assessments to be assessed and apportioned among benefited parcels pursuant to the Cost Apportionment and Parcel Apportionment are hereby established as follows:
