Title
APPROVE AND ACCEPT CONTRACT JL026-08-2027 BETWEEN AREAWIDE COUNCIL ON AGING AND THE NORTHWEST FOCAL POINT SENIOR CENTER DISTRICT TO PROVIDE LSP FUNDING FOR THE PERIOD OF JULY 1, 2026 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2027
BACKGROUND: LSP funding allows the Northwest Focal Point Senior Center District to provide transportation services for Center members to the Center and back home again, as well as to local shopping centers. While at the Center, members are able to participate in various social activities and enjoy a hot lunch. Transportation is one of the most requested services at the Center.
RECOMMENDATION: To approve.
FISCAL IMPACT: The Northwest Focal Point Senior Center District will receive LSP funding in the amount of $100,292.00 for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
