BACKGROUND: The proposed ordinance amends Appendix A Zoning, Article II to provide definitions of “Automobile Dealership” and “Vehicle Sales Agency”. This ordinance replaces the current use of “automobile sales agency” with “vehicle sales agency” where permitted in the M-1, B-3, and TOC-C districts.  Additionally, it introduces the use “automobile dealership, new” into the TOC-C and TOC-G districts.
