Body

BACKGROUND:

The project consists of an 8” ductile iron pipe (DIP) potable water main on the east boundary of the property owned by Alliance XVI, LLC (a/k/a West Broward Academy) that extends from Coconut Creek Parkway to an existing seven (7) foot easement on the northern side of the property. Alliance XVI, LLC has provided a 10-foot utility easement for the new water main. However, the main is on the edge of the 10-foot easement and the adjacent property owner, TC Margate Apartments, LLC., was requested by Alliance XVI LLC to provide an additional 5-foot easement. As a result, this agenda item is comprised of two separate utility easement deeds, one each from Alliance XVI, LLC and TC Margate Apartments LLC, along with a bill of sale for the water main piping and appurtenances.

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the utility easements.
