CHILDREN’S SERVICES COUNCIL OF BROWARD COUNTY
BACKGROUND: Historically, Children's Services Council of Broward County provides an annual report to the Broward County Commission detailing its investments, outcomes, and impact across the county. To enhance transparency and strengthen relationships with municipal elected officials, staff, and residents, they have developed municipality-specific data highlighting the programs, services, and investments benefiting Margate’s residents. Given the recent property tax proposals passed by the Florida Legislature and the potential ballot initiative in November, they believe it is especially important to give local officials and residents a clear understanding of how Children's Services Council of Broward County-funded services are invested in the community and the return on investment those dollars generate.
