BACKGROUND: On an annual basis, the City of Margate prepares a list of legislative priorities to be forwarded to the Governor and members of the Broward Delegation. This list is also used by members of the City Commission in meetings with individual legislators. As the legislative session progresses, the list can be modified and expanded to include additional issues as needed. This list will be developed by the City’s lobbying firm, Ronald L. Book, P.A. based on the direction of the City Commission. It will formally be approved at a subsequent City Commission meeting.
