Title
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARGATE, FLORIDA, APPROVING ACQUISITION OF A 2022 CUSTOM WHEELED COACH TYPE 9 RESCUE TRANSPORT VEHICLE ON A 2022 FREIGHTLINER M2 EXTENDED CAB AND CHASSIS FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FROM REV RTC, INC, WITH PRICING PER THE FLORIDA SHERIFF’S ASSOCIATION BID NO. FSA20-VEF14.01; PROVIDING FOR WAIVING OF BIDDING FOR CUSTOM BUILD-OUT AS STANDARDIZATION TO MATCH EXISTING UNITS; NOT TO EXCEED $349,937.62; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BACKGROUND: This purchase will replace an in-service unit that has reached the end of its usable service life with 102,000 miles, built in 2007. The unit will be housed at Station 98 and includes the latest technology in pre-hospital EMS transport.
