Title
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARGATE, FLORIDA, TERMINATING AND RELEASING PORTIONS OF EXISTING EASEMENTS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF 7800 MARGATE BOULEVARD (FORMER EXECUTIVE GOLF COURSE PROPERTY A/K/A NOVE OR CORAL EDGE), MARGATE, FLORIDA 33063; PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC RESPONSE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BACKGROUND:
The subject property is known as the “Nove” development and is now being developed under the name of “Coral Edge”. The site development is well under way. The flow channel for the canal has been relocated out of the subject easement and into a new easement which was dedicated via the subdivision resurvey that was accepted by Commission on October 16, 2024 and recorded on March 13, 2025. The property owner hereby requests abandonment of portions of previously-existing easements that are no longer required by the City of Margate to facilitate maintenance of the flow channel on this private property.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the Partial Termination and Release of Easements.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact to the City.
