BACKGROUND:                                          At the March 11, 2026, Margate Community Redevelopment Agency (MCRA) meeting, the MCRA Board approved a Development Agreement with Brookfield DA Holdings LLC, an affiliate of BPG Acquisitions LLC for the City Center project. This agenda item is for consideration of including a ballot question in the November elections, for Margate residents to vote on certain aspects of the City Center Project.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     For discussion.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     $106,172.22 - Broward Supervisor of Election expense
