MARGATE ELEMENTARY 5TH GRADE GRADUATION CEREMONY FACILITY AND STAGE USE

BACKGROUND:                     Margate Elementary is requesting the use of the Margate Sports Complex Covered Field and the City of Margate stage on June 4, 2024 for their 5th Grade Graduation ceremony, additionally they are asking for all fees (facility use, stage rental, and manpower) to be waived. This request is being made due to the ongoing construction at their facility, requiring them to find an alternative space to host this event that sees graduating 5th graders accompanied by family and friends, celebrating this milestone in their educational journey.                      

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT: $1625: $750- half day facility rental, $375- stage rental (5 hours),                  $500- Manpower (2 staff, 5 hours)
