CONSIDERATION OF AN APPEAL TO A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT DECISION, FOR SOBEKIDS, INC DBA MARIO THE BAKER.

BACKGROUND:                     On August 7, 2017, the Board of Adjustment granted a variance to allow alcohol sales (beer and wine) at Mario the Baker, located at 1490 N State Road 7.  This restaurant is located 810 feet away from Hebrew Academy, a private elementary and middle school.  The variance was approved with a stipulation that alcohol could not be served before 4 PM, every day. 

 

This appeal was originally scheduled for September 6, 2017, however, the applicant was unable to attend this meeting due to Hurricane Irma approaching. The City Commission continued this item to September 27, 2017.
