BACKGROUND:  Pursuant to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2025-004 and the authorization to negotiate approved by Resolution No. 25-026, continuing services agreements design/build continuing services were negotiated with five ranked firms.  Staff recommendation is award of each agreement for an initial period of two (2) years and authorizing the administration to act on behalf of the City to negotiate options to renew each agreement for two (2) additional two-year terms, providing for rate adjustments and availability of funding for any renewal.

                                          

 

RECOMMENDATION:  Award five design/build continuing services agreements                     

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:  Fiscal impact will be based upon hours billed under approved hourly rates for approved projects, and the associated Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) agreed to by the City for those projects.  Each City approved design/build project resulting from award of a continuing services design/build agreement shall not exceed a maximum individual project threshold of $7.5 million, as currently specified in F.S. 287.055(2)(g)(1) or a subsequently amended statutory threshold.
