Body

BACKGROUND:

The City of Margate ("Owner") holds fee simple ownership of the property located at 6630 NW 9th Street, Margate, FL 33069, where the City Wastewater Treatment Plant is located. This property currently consists of four separate parcels. The Department of Environmental and Engineering Services (DEES) plans to undertake a project involving wastewater plant upgrades and the expansion of treatment units at this location. Consolidating the four separate parcels into a single title will significantly improve the permitting process for the planned wastewater upgrades and expansion project.
