BACKGROUND:                                          

On May 21, 2025, the Commission approved Resolution No. 25-030, which authorized the Administration to negotiate an agreement with the top ranked firm Globaltech, Inc. for RFQ No. 2025-008 - Design-Build Wastewater Treatment Plant Headworks Rehabilitation.

 

After successful negotiations, an agreement for a Fixed Price Design-Build (FPDB) solution to facilitate all necessary rehabilitation upgrades is presented for consideration.  This agreement facilitates a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) project that is not to exceed $12,909,057, inclusive of contingencies.

 

RECOMMENDATION:                      Approve the agreement for a FPDB solution at the GMP of $12,909,057                     

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     $12,909,057 with funding sources derived from budgeted DEES capital projects; including Series 2025 Bonds.
