Title
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO CITY OF MARGATE RESOLUTION NO. 23-075, PREVIOUSLY APPROVED ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2023; REPLACING PURCHASING CONTRACT UNDER CLAY COUNTY RFP 18/19-2, WITH SOURCEWELL PURCHASING CONTRACT 041123-MSL, FOR THE PURCHASE, DELIVERY, AND INSTALLATION OF LED LIGHTS FOR ANDREW’S FIELDS AT MARGATE MIDDLE SCHOOL
BACKGROUND: On September 20, 2023, the City commission approved the LED sports light retrofit improvements of Andrew’s Fields at Margate Middle School using the Clay County purchasing contract 18/19-2. The grant requirements on the Energy Block Grant we applied for, requires this project to have procurement requirements that are within the National Sourcewell contract. We are requesting to amend the original resolution to allow us to procure under the Sourcewell Purchasing contract 041123-MSL instead of the Clay County purchasing contract 18/19-2. This change, if approved, will result in a $ 0 net cost differential and the total project cost will remain at not to exceed $ 466,750.
