RESOLUTION - PROVIDING FOR SALARY COST OF LIVING INCREASES FOR CITY COMMISSIONERS AT THE SAME PERCENTAGE COST OF LIVING INCREASES AS PROVIDED TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES.

BACKGROUND:                                           Section 3.06. - Compensation and expenses.

(1) The Commission may determine the annual salary of Commissioners, except as provided in [subsection] (2) of this section. An ordinance or resolution increasing such salary shall become effective coincident with and at the time of the adoption of the next City budget.

 

RECOMMENDATION:                      For consideration by the City Commission.                     

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     $3,300 based upon a hypothetical 2% COLA increase (not including fringe) for Senior Management (increases: Mayor-$678, Vice Mayor-$673, Commissioners-$653 each)
