BACKGROUND: Royal Palm Park located at 6200 Royal Palm Blvd (The playground adjacent to Calypso Cove Aquatics Facility), Margate, Fl, 33063 is eligible for grant funding from the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Grant dollars would go towards installing an entirely new playground with shade canopy, and safety surfacing, picnic improvements, and landscaping improvements.                      

 

 

RECOMMENDATION: To approve                     

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT: $200,000 maximum reimbursement
