A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MARGATE, FL, APPROVING A RECREATIONAL/INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES FORM AGREEMENT TERMS AND PROCESSES FOR THIRD-PARTY RECREATIONAL VENDORS OFFERING PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES AT CITY FACILITIES; PROVIDING FOR APPROVAL FOR VENDOR USE OF LOGO OR SEAL; PROVIDING FOR EXECUTION OF THE AGREEMENT BY THE CITY MANAGER WITHOUT FURTHER COMMISSION ACTION; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE
BACKGROUND: The City of Margate Parks and Recreation Department is regularly contacted by private third party recreational vendors in regards to partnering with the City to provide programs and activities to our residents. If approved this resolution establishes a standardized, transparent process for private third-party recreation vendors seeking to partner with the City of Margate. By formalizing the application, agreement, and permitting procedures, the City ensures consistency, fairness, and accountability for all private recreation providers. The resolution also aligns vendor participation with the pricing structure previously adopted under Resolution 23-030, ensuring uniform permit fees and eliminating ambiguity. Approval of this resolution will streamline administrative operations, protect City interests, enhance oversight of partnered programs, and expand high-quality recreational opportunities for residents in a structured and equitable manner.
