RESOLUTION - APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MARGATE AND BROWARD COUNTY SWIM CENTRAL FOR PROVIDING WATER SAFETY EDUCATION INSTRUCTION AT CALYPSO COVE
BACKGROUND: This agreement was previously approved by the City Commission. The Broward County Swim Central program provides us funding to teach water safety instructions to children in school, children out of school, adults, and special needs populations.
This amendment increases the revenue collected for each participant in the program, as well as increasing our maximum amount to receive on an annual basis.
RECOMMENDATION: To approve.
