CONSENTING TO THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE MARGATE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND LANDSCAPE SERVICE PROFESSIONALS, INC., TO LANDSCAPE SERVICE PROFESSIONALS, LLC., CONSISTENT WITH THE BILL OF SALE, ASSIGNMENT, AND ASSUMPTION AGREEMENT, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT “A”
BACKGROUND: On July 9, 2024 the MCRA was notified that Landscape Service Professionals, Inc., was acquired by United Land Services in 2023. The company is now operating under the name Landscape Service Professionals, LLC. The Bill of Sale, Assignment, and Assumption Agreement is attached as Exhibit “A”.
The Third Amendment to the Agreement was approved on October 11, 2023, which extended the existing contract up to and including January 31, 2025 (copy attached). No changes to the services are expected due to this name change.
Landscape Services Professionals, LLC., must continue to meet all procurement requirements including providing updated proof of insurance as requested.
RECOMMENDATION: For Board approval
