APPROVAL OF AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MARGATE ZONING CODE, ARTICLE XI COMMUNITY FACILITY CF-1 DISTRICT, SECTIONS 11.4 HEIGHT AND 11.5 LOT COVERAGE.

Body

 

BACKGROUND: This amendment will provide exceptions to height and lot coverage limitations for large hospitals located within CF-1 districts.

 

RECOMMENDATION:  This item was approved by the Development Review Committee on November 8, 2016. A copy of the meeting minutes is attached. The item was approved by the Planning and Zoning Board on December 6, 2016 with a 3-0 vote.  A draft copy of those meeting minutes is also attached. The item was approved at First Reading by the Margate City Commission at the January 18, 2017 Regular City Commission meeting with a 5-0 vote.
