BACKGROUND: The Broward Victim’s Right Coalition “BVRC” is a non-profit organization that creates awareness and empowers victims through education and training. The coalition directly assists the Margate Police Department by providing Margate victims urgent financial assistance when no other funds are available. This funding helps to provide emergency shelter and victim service programs for domestic violence victims and their families.
