RESOLUTION - AWARDING RFP NO. 2021-007 - AUTOMOTIVE PAINT AND BODY WORK SERVICES TO POMPANO AUTOMOTIVE ASSOCIATES LLC DBA JOEY ACCARDI CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM; PROVIDING FOR RATES AS PROPOSED IN THE FIRM’S RESPONSE TO RFP 2021-007; PROVIDING FOR AN INITIAL THREE-YEAR TERM AND FOR TWO ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR RENEWAL OPTIONS SUBJECT TO ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVAL; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BACKGROUND: The City prepared and released RFP 2021-007 - Automotive Paint and Body Work Services. One response was received from Pompano Automotive Associates LLC DBA Joey Accardi Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Following are the proposed rates:

Joey Accardi Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has successfully provided these services to the City under a prior agreement. Staff recommends award to Pompano Automotive Associates LLC DBA Joey Accardi Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve
FISCAL IMPACT: Historically, approximately $40,000 is expended for automotive paint and body work annually. Our future fiscal impact will vary based on the need to repair damage to vehicle bodies and other cosmetic condition factors related to vehicles in the City fleet.
