BACKGROUND:                                          The reclassification to Deputy and Assistant Fire Chiefs is part of the department’s succession planning efforts and aligns our structure with all other fire agencies in Broward County.  This change ensures leadership continuity, consistency in command, and improved coordination across regional operations.
