RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE REVISED CITY OF MARGATE INNER-CITY TRANSIT TITLE VI PROGRAM.

BACKGROUND:                                          The City’s Inner-City Transit Title VI Program assures that no person shall, based on race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, denied benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination under any Department of Transportation financially assisted program.

 

On November 7, 2018, the City Commission adopted Resolution 18-134 approving the Margate Inner-City Transit Title VI Program.  Resolution 22-077 later adopted the revised Program, as required every three years or whenever a major program change occurs. This resolution adopts the revised Title VI Program due in 2026.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     City Staff recommends Approval

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     None.
