BACKGROUND:  This rate resolution directs the reimposition of Fire Rescue Assessments for the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2024 and approves the rate of assessment.

 

The assessments are below the maximum allowable rates, that were calculated in the May, 2024 study.  The maximum allowable residential rate calculated in the 2024 study is $373.

                                          

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:  For approval.                     

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:  For the Fiscal Year beginning October 1, 2024, the total estimated Fire Rescue Assessed Cost to be assessed is $10,301,001.  The Fiscal Year 2025 budgeted revenue will be $9,622,793 after buy-downs for Government, Institutional Tax-Exempt and Disabled Veterans.

 

The Fire Rescue Assessments to be assessed and apportioned among benefited parcels pursuant to the Cost Apportionment and Parcel Apportionment are hereby established as follows:
