BACKGROUND:                     On March 16, 2018, the Governor signed off on the State of Florida Budget which included an appropriation of $500,000 for the Margate Sewer Piping Rehabilitation project to rehabilitate approximately 6 miles of sewer piping. This agenda item is a State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection Standard Grant Agreement to provide for the terms and conditions to receive the appropriation for this project.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.

 

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     Project costs are to be determined upon completion of the bid process. There is $500,000 currently budgeted in the fiscal year 2019 budget.
