RESOLUTION GRANTING DRAINAGE, FLOWAGE AND STORAGE EASEMENTS TO ALLIANCE XVI LLC AND TO TC MC MARGATE APARTMENTS LLC, TO FACILITATE TRANSFER OF MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES FROM THE CITY

BACKGROUND:                                          

 

Alliance XVI LLC (Alliance) and TC MC Margate Apartments LLC (TC MC Margate) are owners of properties located at 5233-5281 and 5203-5231 Coconut Creek Parkway, respectively. The properties are adjacent to each other and are bordered by a canal and lake to the north. Alliance and TC MC Margate are seeking to take over responsibility for portions of the drainage canal and lake that abut their properties, for operational and maintenance purposes. The entire lake and portions of the canal are currently owned by the City of Margate. 

 

The draft resolution seeks to ratify the requested drainage, flowage and storage easements.

RECOMMENDATION:                     

 

Grant Drainage, Flowage, and Storage Easements in favor of Alliance XVI LLC and TC MC Margate Apartments.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:                     

 

There is no fiscal impact to the City.
