BACKGROUND: During a March 14, 2023 City Commission meeting there was a workshop item to discuss the status of projects utilizing Park Bond Capital Improvement funds, and to consider the reprioritization of all or part of certain remaining projects by the City Commission. One of the projects discussed was the conversations of two (2) artificial turf soccer fields. This improvement includes a turnkey installation of two (2) Field Turf, Inc artificial turf soccer fields by a certified field builder at a cost of $2,394,355, with the remaining funds for contingency of other site upgrades.
