REVISING THE MCRA MEETING SCHEDULE FOR 2026
BACKGROUND: In accordance with Article 3.1 of the Margate Community Redevelopment Agency Bylaws, the MCRA shall hold a regular meeting at least ten* (10) times each fiscal year on a day and time to be designated from time to time by the MCRA Board.
The MCRA Board approved the MCRA meeting schedule for 2026 at the December 9, 2025 MCRA meeting (schedule attached). The date approved for the August MCRA meeting was Wednesday, August 12. Members of the Board will be attending the Florida League of Cities Annual Conference from August 12-15, therefore the meeting would either need to be rescheduled or canceled for the month of August.
Suggestions for alternate dates/times:
• Wednesday, August 12 - late morning/early afternoon
• Tuesday, August 18 @ 6:00 p.m.
• Thursday, August 20 @ 6:00 p.m.
*Reminder: There has already been one meeting cancelled this fiscal year: the May 13 meeting was cancelled due to lack of agenda items.
