Title

RESOLUTION - APPROVING THE COMMERCIAL LEASE OF WAREHOUSE SPACE LOCATED AT 1927 BANKS ROAD; PROVIDING FOR LEASE TERM AND RENT SCHEDULE; PROVIDING FOR STORAGE OF FIRE DEPARTMENT VEHICLES AND SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE

Body

BACKGROUND:                     This agenda item is for lease of warehouse space at 1927 Banks Road to provide for storage and protection of Fire Department vehicles, equipment, and supplies. This lease is needed due to limited space at the fire stations to house reserve vehicles and equipment. Storing the reserve suppression apparatus in a fully enclosed four-sided structure also assists the Department in maximizing available Insurance Services Office (ISO ) credit and protecting the City’s ISO Class 1 rating.

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Security deposit:                              $6,500.00
