BACKGROUND:                     The initial term of the existing agreements for solid waste processing and disposal and/or recyclables processing services that many municipalities in the County, including the City of Margate, have with Sun-Bergeron J.V. are set to expire on July 3, 2018. The City of Miramar has presented a non-binding memorandum of understanding to assist the municipalities in coordinating, collaborating, and considering potential options for these services after the expiration of the initial terms.

 

 

RECOMMENDATION:                     For approval.
