Title
DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION -REQUEST FOR WAIVING OF FEES FOR BREAKING CHAINS OF VIOLENCE FOUNDATION INC, A LOCAL MARGATE 501C3 TO USE THE MARGATE SPORTS COMPLEX COVERED FIELD ON OCTOBER 17, 2026. THEY ARE REQUESTING TO WAIVE ALL FEES, EXCEPT FOR LABOR
BACKGROUND: Breaking Chains of Violence Foundation Inc is requesting the use of the Margate Sports Complex Covered Field on October 17,2026 to host an event to raise awareness for Bullying, Gun, and Domestic Violence, with food vendors, local assistance & resource vendors, local schools participation, one blood bus, radio stations, and a worship concert with local churches and Christian hip-hop artists. They are requesting to waive all fees (excluding labor) associated with this event.
The applicant’s registration for solicitating donations in Florida is pending with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services currently. Therefore, if the Commission considers approving this waiver request, it should be conditioned upon the organization’s successful registration with FDACS.

Covered field: $1500 for the whole day
Stage: $175 per hour, estimated time of 5 hours, total $ 875
Total Fees requesting to be waived: $2375
