Approving a task order for Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., to provide professional consulting services for the Copans Road Median Landscape Improvements Project

BACKGROUND: Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (Kimley-Horn) is the consultant chosen to provide civil engineering services through RFQ-MCRA-2012-03. One of the Capital Outlay projects identified in the CRA's Fiscal Year 2014 Budget is Copans Road Landscaping. CRA staff believes now is the time to engage the consultant to commence design drawings for this project. The schematic design for the Copans Road Median Landscape Improvements will be brought to the CRA Board for approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval
FISCAL IMPACT: $33,061 from Copans Road Landscaping account (140-0510-512.68-26)
