REALLOCATION OF WESTON, FL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS.

BACKGROUND: The City of Weston did not apply for their fiscal year 2013 CDBG funds. These funds will be reallocated to the greater Ft. Lauderdale metro area. Margate's share of funding is $7,489.00 to be used for the Home Rehabilitation Program. Acceptance of the grant funds by Resolution is required by HUD in order for the funds to be available for use.
RECOMMENDATION: Accept
FISCAL IMPACT: 10 percent of the funds can be used for administration.
