BACKGROUND: This site was previously operated by Shell gasoline, and has been vacant for more than 180 days, requiring a new special exception approval to re-open the gasoline station. Petitioner is requesting approval to operate a gasoline service station at the existing site. The gasoline station will have 6 pumps with a 1,000 square foot convenience store and automated car wash. The existing canopy, pump islands and convenience store will be used for the new proposed gasoline station. All underground storage tanks meet current Federal and State requirements.
