Title
GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING REPORT - CITY CENTER SITE

Body

BACKGROUND:      In October of 2014 the CRA contracted with Kimley Horn and Associates for the City Center Stormwater Master Permit project.  The project scope included geotechnical services to analyze soil conditions, particularly as it relates to drainage.  The geotechnical report was completed by Kimley Horn's subcontractor Tierra South Florida Inc.   Soil boring tests were conducted at numerous locations throughout the site. The results of the tests indicate that subsurface conditions are generally suitable for the proposed improvements, and are not expected to impose any major constraints or limitations on the project.   The test results indicate that soil densities are fairly consistent throughout the entire development site.  Once a development plan is finalized, additional tests will be conducted by the developer to verify conditions at specific building locations.
