CONSIDERATION OF AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE DEFINITIONS, SETBACKS AND SIZE REQUIREMENTS FOR SHEDS, STORAGE BUILDINGS, AND TEMPORARY STORAGE STRUCTURES IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS.

BACKGROUND: On October 1, 2014 the City Commission held a workshop to discuss revising the size and setback of sheds in residential areas.
RECOMMENDATION: The Development Review Committee (DRC) recommended approval on October 23, 2014. The Planning & Zoning Board recommended approval with the amendment of leaving the limit to one shed per property instead of two in a residential area. On December 17, 2014, the City Commission passed the ordinance on 1st reading, allowing one shed per property.
