RESOLUTION - APPROVING REAPPOINTMENT OF BARBARA SERRA-MANNION TO SERVE ON THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR THE TERM COMMENCING FEBRUARY 1, 2015, THROUGH JANUARY 31, 2018.

BACKGROUND: The State Housing Initiatives partnership (SHIP) Act requires local governments to maintain an Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC), which the city of Margate created in June, 2008. The AHAC is an 11 member board that, in accordance with Florida Statute 420.9076, requires one member be a citizen who is a labor representative in the affordable housing industry. The City Commission needs to appoint a member to serve.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve reappointment
