BACKGROUND: The City of Margate Civil Service Board meets the third Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. with five (5) board members that are either elected or appointed depending on the position. Each member serves a two year term. The current vacated position is appointed by the City Commission. There is currently one vacancy on the Civil Service Board.
The current applications on file and provided in the backup for the Civil Service Board are:

· Joy Downey
· Clifford Frederic
RECOMMENDATION: To fill the remainder of the term for the one vacant position.
