BACKGROUND:            On March 18, 2015, the City Commission made a motion to name NW 61^st Ave after Fannie Finno. Fannie Finno and her family moved to Margate in 1958. She was active with St. Vincent Church and served as a school crossing guard. Fannie Finno recently passed away at the age of 99.  

Broward County Traffic Engineering Division requests that the Margate City Commission approve this supplemental name change by resolution.

RECOMMENDATION:      Approve supplementing NW 61^st Avenue, from NW 15^th Street to NW 15^th Court with "Fannie Finno Drive".

FISCAL IMPACT:      The estimated cost for the County to fabricate and install the new signs is $350.00. Funding is available in Public Works (Acct# 001-4547-539-46-07)
