APPROVING APPOINTMENT OF _____________ AS CITY COMMISSIONER TRUSTEE TO THE EMPLOYEE BENEFIT TRUST FUND FOR THE TERM OF JUNE 1, 2015, UNTIL MAY 31, 2018.

BACKGROUND: The Employee Benefit Trust Fund (EBTF) shall be administered by seven (7) Trustees. The seven (7) Trustees shall consist of one (1) Trustee who is an active employee in, and elected from, the bargaining unit represented by the IAFF, or its successor; one (1) Trustee who is an active employee in, and elected from, the bargaining unit represented by the FPE, or its successor; one (1) Trustee who is an active employee in, and elected from the bargaining unit represented by the FOP, or its successors; one (1) Trustee who is an active employee in, and elected from, the bargaining unit represented by the PBA, or its successor; one (1) Trustee who is elected by non-bargaining unit employees; one (1) Trustee who is appointed by the City Manager from senior management; and one (1) Trustee who is a City Commissioner appointed by the City Commission. The terms of office for the Trustees shall be for a period of three (3) years.
            
RECOMMENDATION: For City Commission to approve appointment
