BACKGROUND: The Neighborhood Scout Rally - Show Off Scouting event will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 10:00 am - 2 pm. The young men and women of the Boy Scouts of America will present hands on demonstrations, play games and more.
The event will include the Margate Police Department, Margate Fire Truck, a mini campsite, round-robin games, Para chord activity knots, rain gutter regatta, pinewood derby track, and other games. In addition, port-a-potties, a Dutch oven, and parking will be onsite.
The event received CRA approval for use of the land.
