PARKS AND RECREATION MASTER PLAN
BACKGROUND: The City contracted with Heller and Heller Consulting, Inc. to conduct a City of Margate Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan. The discussion of this workshop is to update the public on the overall project, and provide a summary update on the following:
• Park and Facility Assessment
• Demographic and Trend Report
• Community Input
• Community Survey
• Recreation Assessment
It is the goal of this discussion to address questions and provide an outline for the remaining components of the Master Plan which includes:
• Visioning Meetings with staff, public, key stakeholders
• Capital Development Priorities
• Comprehensive Plan Outline
• Deliver Draft Report
• Deliver Final Report
• Final Presentation of the Master Plan
As part of the Visioning Meetings, there will be another opportunity for the public to provide feedback prior to the final report.
