APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,470.00 TO PARKSON CORPORATION FOR ADDITIONAL REPAIRS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE REHABILITATION OF THE MECHANICAL BAR SCREEN.

BACKGROUND: A purchase order was issued on November 19, 2014 to Parkson Corporation for rehabilitation of the wastewater treatment plant mechanical bar screen per Resolution # 12-562 in an amount not to exceed $89,566.00. After the bar screen was shipped and disassembled for inspection and repairs, additional repairs that were not included in the original scope of work were required to complete the rehabilitation. Additional cost and the repairs performed are detailed in the attached invoice.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve
