UPDATE ON MCRA MARKETING ACTIVITIES

BACKGROUND:                                          

The following events will take place in the month of August as part of ongoing business attraction, retention and growth efforts outlined in the MCRA Marketing Plan; 

 

•                     Executive Business Seminar - Will be held on August 3, 9:00am - 8:00pm.  The seminar will feature two expert panel discussions and numerous opportunities to interact with leading business experts.  The free event is open to all businesses located within the MCRA Boundaries. The Expo will be held at AutoNation Ford located at 5401 West Copans Road in Margate.

 

•                     Margate Under the Moon - August 8, 5:00pm - 10:00pm   - “A Night In Paradise” featuring Caribbean and Latin inspired cuisine, live music, vendors and local businesses.

FISCAL IMPACT:                     Budgeted in fund 140-0510-512-31 Marketing and Promotions and 140-0510-512-31 45 Fall Festival.
